Your role
You’ll play a key role within the Major Investigations Room (MIR), forming a critical part of the administration team who support the investigation team tackling the most serious and complex environmental crimes across the country.
You will be assigned and carry out a designated support role on each investigation including the registration of material onto a case management system and the role of indexer.
What will you do:
As an MIR Administration expert within the Environment Agency’s National Enforcement Team, you’ll process the material generated during the investigation, register it onto the case management system, research and index accordingly. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the team to deliver high quality case files and documentation to enable the Environment Agency to take appropriate legal action prosecuting offenders. Your actions will directly assist in creating a cleaner, safer and healthier environment for everyone.

This role will require travel from time to time therefore a full UK Driving Licence. You will be required to attend the MIR in Birmingham once a week and on occasions you will also be required to transport exhibits recovered from searches to secure storage.
