Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

 

Salary £24,000.00 - £29,000.00 depending on experience, plus Serco benefits.

 

Main Purpose:

 

The Business Support Co-Ordinator is responsible for providing purchasing and administrative assistance to the GWH Management Team & wider Contract, including administrative support as required, supporting project activity, managing the purchasing and the procurement processes, assisting Finance Business Partner with revenue coordination, and supporting the production of monthly reporting and calculations.

 

Main Accountabilities: 

 

  • Coordinate production of reports and activities in support of contract governance as requested providing cover in absence of the Data Analyst.
  • Provide administrative support (including minute and note taking) to all management team processes and meetings as requested.
  • Soft Services lead for purchasing and procurement (delegated to service lines for domestic, patient catering, Portering, Admin and Security).
  • Undertake procurement activities in support of contract administration through Guided Buying.
  • Management of purchase orders, including GRN and solving issues proactively. - Work closely with the Finance Business Partner as and when with required.
  • Assist the Training co-ordinator with the attendance and administration of training events, staff induction and briefings as required.
  • Monthly reporting for the contract as required on behalf of the SMT including collating, inputting, and managing all performance information and calculations.
  • Perform any other reasonable actions as requested by Management.
  • Undertake all relevant training.

 

What you will need for the role:

 

 

  • Excellent communication skills - builds strong relationships within the team and across the contract. Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detailed, conscientious and delivery focused.
  • Discrete and able to deal with sensitive information (payroll, Finance and HR)
  • Excellent organisational ability with superior time management skills and the capacity to work independently to deliver results with initiative, responsibility, and discretion.
  • Demonstrates a flexible approach to work, is self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Experience of working in a purchasing role.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
  • Procurement/Guided buying training provided.
  • Payroll experience desirable.
  • SAP desirable
  • Specific objective of this role is to always maintain data integrity and accuracy to ensure business decisions are based on reliable information.
  • Keen eye for numeracy.
