The Contingent Commander of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) is responsible for driving the development of CCF activities for Berkhamsted Schools Group. They will seek to create the conditions for Berkhamsted to be recognised externally as a School that offers excellent cadet opportunities within the private education sector.
This role, combined with additional teaching responsibilities, will be the Lead of the CCF and play a pivotal role in the day-to-day life of the School.

The CCF Contingent Commander will report to the Deputy Head Co-Curricular but advise the Principal and their Leadership Team regarding CCF development in accordance with the School’s values, aims, and ambitions.
Communications:
To encourage and foster good lines of communication with parents and staff in relation to CCF activities, opportunities, and camps.
