Summary:

As a data engineer in the "Data and Innovation" unit of a large organisation's IT department, you will play a key role in building and deploying a modern, open data platform that supports the company's digital transformation. You will work on integrating innovative technologies like Big Data, AI, IoT, and analytics to enable data-driven insights across multiple business units, ensuring effective data governance and maximising its value for business growth and innovation.

Responsibilities:

Data Platform Development: Implement a modern, open data platform aligned with business needs.
Data Management: Design and execute initiatives to process and leverage data, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to assess and meet their data needs.
Modelling & Architecture: Lead data warehouse modelling using Data Vault, Inmon, or Kimball methodologies.
Sustainability: Support sustainable development and digital sobriety initiatives through data-driven projects.

Requirements:

Education: Degree in IT or equivalent, with experience in data management.
Cloud Expertise: Proficient in data architecture on Cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and dbt.
Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance, quality management, and master data management.
Modelling: Experience in data warehouse modelling with Data Vault, Inmon, or Kimball.
Teamwork: Strong communication, organisational skills, and ability to collaborate across teams.
Sustainability Interest: Interest in sustainable development and innovation.
