Are you a skilled risk manager with a proven track record in managing supplier risk, passionate about protecting and enhancing business operations? Join Serco as our Head of Supply Chain Risk and be at the forefront of a pivotal role in the ongoing development, implementation, and governance of our Supplier Risk Management Framework for the UK&E division. With over £1.2bn in procurement spend and a network of 6,500+ third-party suppliers supporting our diverse operations, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring we maintain resilience, integrity, and compliance throughout our supply chain. This role is an exceptional opportunity to influence supplier standards and risk management on a large scale within a dynamic global organisation that delivers essential public services across defence, transport, healthcare, and justice sectors.
In this role, you will oversee the supplier risk management framework for the UK&E division, setting and embedding policies, standards, and processes that align with Serco's risk appetite. Collaborating closely with colleagues across Legal, Ethics, IT, Health & Safety, Environment, and Procurement, you will drive cross-functional initiatives to mitigate supply chain risks. This role requires you to lead risk mitigation efforts addressing legal, regulatory, cybersecurity, and reputational risks, ensuring compliance across our supply chain. You will build partnerships within Procurement to ensure supplier risk considerations are integrated into every aspect of our procurement processes, from sourcing to supplier management.
