HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader

Location: Stowmarket, Mid Suffolk IP14 5AT

Salary: £30,978.60 per annum + excellant benefits

Full Time: 40 hours per week

Working hours: Monday - Friday 6.30am - 3pm with occasional Saturday work.

As a HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader in our Stowmarket team, you'll provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Suffolk. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.


You'll be entrusted to:

  • You will set off on a pre planned route as the driver with your tean of Loaders you are working with collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
  • You will be the public face of Serco's Environmental Services team in the community.
  • Before setting out on your rounds, you will ensure that your vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and work ready.
