Join Serco's UK & Europe division as an Information Security Manager and support the execution of high complexity, high risk and critical IT workstreams by studying and understanding business requirements, identifying gaps between business requirements and current IT capabilities, defining solutions to bridge the gap, and making sure that the project scope is maintained, and solutions implemented in line with the overall strategy and architecture.
In this pivotal role, you must also understand not just the IT needs of the business but also the overall impact of proposed solutions to the profitability of the business. You'll maximize the value of the tooling in your specific domain of expertise and will have strong credibility in this space to be a specialist in at least two or three technology disciplines whilst maintaining a vast knowledge of current and emerging IT technologies.
You'll be accountable for all areas relating to security strategy, technology choice and assists implementation and operational teams in managing their projects and ongoing services. As well as being responsible for the security of all systems, personnel and sites deployed in support of the contract, and for positioning the contract to operate in accordance with Secure by Design requirements.
