Location: RAF Brize Norton, with travel to RAF High Wycombe
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:00AM to 5:00PM with out of hours rota 1 in 6
Within VIVO we are currently recruiting for a Multi Trade Operative who will successfully deliver the day-to-day repairs service, providing front line delivery to the MOD families. You will work to deliver highest quality reactive and preventative planned maintenance works to domestic properties. Working efficiently and safety you will maintain our perfect delivery ethos to achieve excellent customer services.
Reporting into the VIVO Voids Supervisor as part of a team of 6, you will be involved with refurbishment, planned and reactive maintenance, including repairs on UPVC doors, garage doors, light roof works, patchwork plastering, decorating and painting and repairing gutters.
Your work will be scheduled for you, being delivered by PDA where you can go straight to your first work task using a provided work van.
This role will see you carry out repairs to a variety of building services and demonstrate their competence to multi-skill outside their core trade to include minor plumbing works, building work, and grounds work and drainage related leaks.
What you'll need to do this role
It is essential that you have experience in the maintenance of domestic properties, desirably with a background in carpentry. Any other trade is also highly desirable.
This role will see you travel to other sites, including High Wycombe, so it is essential that you hold a clean and valid UK driving licence. This role is a predominantly lone working role, so you will be motivated and self sufficient. You will also be customer facing, so experience in a customer facing role is desirable.
It is desirable that you have experience of operating within an MOD environment and have familiarity with geography and establishments within area of responsibility.
You must be able to pass BPSS Clearance to be considered for this role.
