Contract: Full time, permanent
Location: Aldershot, GU11 2HL with travel ranging to Sandhurst, Andover and Middle Wallop
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00AM to 5:00PM) with escalations on call 1 week in 9
Here at VIVO we currently have an exciting opportunity for an organised and motivated Response Supervisor to join the VIVO team to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the Housing Maintenance service to ensure all works, audits and inspections are carried out to a high move-in standard.
Supervising a team of up to 15 operatives, you will be the first point of call for your team in the case of escalations, complaints and any other issues that may come from the domestic military housing in the Aldershot area.
As part of this role, you will be undertaking tasks such as; face to face visits or telephone calls with military families to respond to complaints or escalations, overseeing the completion of works and contacting the client regarding any works that go over the monetary budget.
As a Supervisor, you will also be responsible for the operatives in your team, including managing performance, performance reviews, disciplinaries and any other managerial duties that may come up.
What you'll need to do this role
Within this role you will need to have a background in trades and housing, it is especially desirable to have experience of military housing. You must be IT literate, including the use of excel and other Microsoft packages. You will be a strong and confident communicator over the phone and over email, with experience in a customer facing role.
You will also have experience in managing a multi discipline delivery team, including handling performance reviews, disciplinaries and other line managerial duties.
It is ideal that you hold a NVQ in a maintenance trade, alongside completing relevant Health and Safety training.
This role will be cover multiple estates, so it is essential that you hold a full clean UK driving licence and be willing to cover wider locations to support with annual leave cover when needed.
It is desirable that you have experience of operating within either an MOD or property maintenance environment.
