Technical Superintendent (Maintenance and Data)
6-month Fixed term contract
RNB Portsmouth base
Competitive salary plus benefits
Serco are recruiting for a Technical Superintendent to join our team based in Portsmouth on a fixed term contract for 6 months. Serco is carrying out a Transformation from the current CPMS contract to the DMS-NG contract. As part of this, the approach to Engineering (vessel maintenance, repair, and overhaul) requires development and modernisation, coupled with the development and implementation of a new asset and maintenance management system in SEAMS.
The Engineering workstream of the Transformation programme includes a review and refresh of the processes and data held within the existing management system to form the basis of the new maintenance system within SEAMS. A key priority of the role will be to assist in adapting and migrating current maintenance data into the new SEAMS environment and then implementation of new processes and procedures.
To achieve this an opportunity has been created to facilitate a suitably qualified and experienced marine engineer with PMS experience to lend their expertise to the project for a minimum 6-month term. This role will support the development & implementation of Engineering approaches and associated asset management systems for the future delivery of maintenance, repair, and overhaul in the DMS-NG contract and will provide support for transition of these functions into a new integrated engineering management system (SEAMS).
